How a Nigerian Pastor Is Allegedly Involved in a ₦9 Million Visa Fraud Case
A Nigerian pastor and founder of Shalom Divine Ministry, Apostle Nelson Cliphine Ewomazino, is currently under investigation following allegations that he collected approximately ₦9 million from multiple individuals for visa processing services that were never delivered.

According to information obtained by Eagle Eyes Report, Apostle Ewomazino allegedly received funds from several individuals, including the wife of a fellow pastor, to facilitate visas to Switzerland, the United States, and Belarus.
One of his pastors, Tare, whose wife was among those affected, told our correspondent that despite repeated efforts to recover the funds, no visas were processed, and no refunds were made.
“Within a very short period, we paid him close to ₦9 million. Each time we requested updates, we were told the process would take two weeks, which later extended into several months,” he stated.
He further explained that the alleged transactions were based on trust, as Apostle Ewomazino was their pastor at the time, and no formal due diligence was conducted.
After months of unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue, the matter was reported to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon, Ikoyi. According to Pastor Tare, Apostle Ewomazino was officially invited for questioning but failed to honour the invitation.
It later emerged that Apostle Ewomazino had travelled to Spain shortly after receiving the police invitation.
As of the time of this report, the matter remains under investigation by law enforcement authorities. Individuals affected are calling for a refund of the money paid.
