If Not For Music, I Would’ve Been An Accountant Or A Mathematical Teacher
Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, recently opened up on her career path, revealing that she might have been a mathematics teacher if she hadn’t pursued music.
During a Q&A session with her fans on X, the Grammy-winning singer shared that she could have been a mathematics teacher, offering a glimpse into her life beyond music.

When a fan asked, “If music didn’t work, what else do you think you would be doing today?”
Tems replied: “I would have been a mathematics teacher or maybe an accountant.”
The revelation surprised many fans, showing that her talents extend beyond music and that she had strong academic interests alongside her artistic abilities.
